With a long history in the electrical and electronics industry, Chuck Whitaker has worked for prominent companies such as Maknetek Inc., Parallax Power Supply, Connecticut Electric Inc., and Ag Express Electronics Inc. He has developed and repaired products for residential, commercial, automotive, and agricultural markets. Whitaker is also the named inventor on a patent for electrical and electronic systems integration within recreational vehicles.

Holding degrees in Electronics Technology, Computer-Aided Design, and Business Management, Whitaker has led engineering teams in product development and held an executive position for over five years at Connecticut Electric Inc. as Director of Product Management. There, he led engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams in cradle-to-grave product management, including sourcing, product flow, inventory management, and safety compliance. He has formed and operated small businesses in the advertising and restaurant industries and runs a product development and management company, Phoenix RFA LLC.

Whitaker joined LEO Flight Corporation in 2023, bringing his expertise to the development of the LEO Coupe flying car program. In addition to his responsibilities at LEO Flight, Whitaker is a key player at drone manufacturing company Electric Jet Aircraft LLC—LEO Flight’s R&D partner. There, he develops clustered electric-jet drones and other cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft, playing a leading role in the collaboration between the two companies.
